Cold weather with scattered rain on Friday and a decrease of the depression in the evening

Khaberni - The Meteorological Administration's forecasts suggest that the Kingdom will continue to experience relatively cold weather on Friday with remnants of the impact of the cold air mass, with a slight increase in temperatures along with partly to mostly cloudy conditions. Occasionally, light to moderate rain will fall from time to time in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom and limited parts of the southwest and east, with the winds being active westerly with occasional strong gusts.

According to the Meteorological Department report, in the evening, the chances of precipitation will gradually weaken and the weather will tend to stabilize, while cold weather prevails at night with fog formation over high mountain elevations and the possibility of frost on the tops of the high southern mountains.

On Saturday, a slight additional rise in temperatures will occur, leading to relatively cold and stable weather in most areas, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes. The weather will be cold at night with the possibility of fog formation in high mountainous areas during the early morning hours.

On Sunday, temperatures will continue to rise to create pleasant weather in most areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at various altitudes and the possibility of light, scattered rain showers at intervals, especially during the night. Winds will be moderate southerly westerly, becoming active at times.

On Monday, a noticeable drop in temperatures will occur, returning to relatively cold weather in most areas, with the possibility of light rain showers in the north of the Kingdom, while cold weather prevails at night especially over high mountain elevations.

The Meteorological Administration warns of reduced horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds especially over high mountainous areas, the risk of frost formation in the early morning hours over high southern mountain peaks on Friday, and the risk of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.
