Cold air currents affect Jordan on Friday with expected rain in the north and center

Khaberni - Khaberni - Computer simulation outputs in the Arab Weather Center indicate that the kingdom will be affected by cold and humid western air currents on the coming Friday, which leads to improved chances of rain in the northern and central areas, in addition to its continuation at intervals in Al-Karak and Al-Tafilah.

It is expected that temperatures on Friday will be lower than their usual averages at this time of year by about 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be cold and variable ranging from partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with rain falling at spaced intervals in the northern and central areas, in addition to Al-Karak and Al-Tafilah governorates, and may occasionally extend to some areas in western Ma'an, in addition to parts of the eastern areas.

This will also be accompanied by fog formation due to the crossing of low clouds touching the surface of the earth, which leads to a reduction in horizontal visibility, especially above mountainous heights.

It is also expected that there will be significant activity in wind speed on Friday, especially during the afternoon and evening, where the western winds will be active in several areas, and accompanied by strong gusts that may exceed 70 km/hour, especially in the eastern plains and the eastern desert, which may lead to the raising of dust waves in the far east of the kingdom and desert areas that have not experienced recent rainfalls.

Weather for the night of Friday/Saturday
During the evening and early night hours of Friday, the weather remains generally cold, with the possibility of some rain remaining in limited areas, although these chances gradually decrease during the late night and dawn hours of Saturday, when the weather tends to stabilize, the cloud amounts decrease, and the weather becomes clear in all areas.

Wind speed will gradually decrease during the night to become light and variable in direction.

And God knows best.
