Khaberni - Channel 12 Israeli said that the Israeli court allowed today (Tuesday) the publication that Betsalel Zini, brother of the head of the General Security Service (Shin Bet) David Zini, is suspected in a case of smuggling cigarettes to Gaza. The judge also allowed the publication of the specific charge against his brother, which is smuggling cigarettes to the Gaza Strip. Previously, the Israeli police informed the court that they had completed their investigations, and that an indictment would be issued against him in the coming days, according to the Hebrew channel.
The channel added that last week, the court clarified that Zini himself is not a suspect in the case. Due to his closeness to one of the suspects, the police are handling the investigation, not the General Security Service (Shin Bet).
