Judge We look forward to opening cooperation horizons with all Vietnamese spectra

Khaberni - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mazen Al-Qadi, and the President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Thanh Man, discussed enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in parliamentary and people-to-people relations, in addition to proposing the establishment of a joint parliamentary friendship association, which contributes to adopting common positions on regional, international, and multilateral issues.

Al-Qadi said during his meeting with Thanh Man in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi that we look forward to enhancing relations and cooperation between the two sides in all fields.

During his meeting, Al-Qadi conveyed His Majesty the King's greetings to the leaders in Vietnam, referring to the historic royal visit to Vietnam on the 12th and 13th of November 2026, which marked a historic launch point in the bilateral relations that began 46 years ago, and praised the achievements made in Vietnam and its strategic position.

Al-Qadi valued Vietnam's role in supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people and their just cause, and the necessity for Palestinians to achieve their independent state on their national territory.

Al-Qadi emphasized the importance of the Hashemite custodianship over the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

He also expressed Jordan's aspiration to open avenues for cooperation with all Vietnamese spectra in all fields.

Al-Qadi said that Jordan and Vietnam possess moderate foreign policies and an active regional diplomatic presence due to their distinguished positions on the international map, and he mentioned the Kingdom's role in supporting stability and peace in the region and the world. Al-Qadi reiterated his invitation to the President of the Parliamentary Assembly to visit the Kingdom and closely explore opportunities for parliamentary cooperation and in all fields.

On the sidelines of the negotiation session, a memorandum of understanding on parliamentary cooperation between the Jordanian House of Representatives and the Vietnamese National Assembly was signed.

The aim of this memorandum is to enhance the existing bilateral cooperation relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and to ensure their development in various fields,

On his part, the President of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man confirmed that Vietnam wishes to expand cooperation with Jordan in the fields of economy, trade, investment, tourism, agriculture, education, training, and health; and to enhance cooperation in the fields where both sides excel.

It is noted that Al-Qadi is leading a parliamentary delegation, including the deputies: Zuhair Al-Khashman, Mohammad Al-Maharmeh, Abdel Hadi Breezeat, Mohammad Salama Al-Ghweri, and Omar Bani Khalid.

This official visit comes at the invitation of the President of the National Assembly in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man.

The non-resident Jordanian ambassador in Vietnam, Saed Dr. Al-Radaideh, attended the meeting.


On the sidelines of the negotiation session, a bilateral meeting was held between the Secretary-General of the House of Representatives Awad Al-Ghweri and his Vietnamese counterpart, during which they discussed ways to implement the provisions of the memorandum on the ground, in addition to discussing aspects of cooperation between the secretariats of the two councils
