Meteorological Weather fluctuations and a cold rainy mass affecting Jordan on Tuesday

Khaberni - The Meteorological Administration stated that the Kingdom will witness weather fluctuations during the next four days, starting with relatively pleasant and dusty weather, followed by a clear influence of a cold and humid air mass, then a gradual improvement in weather conditions.

It explained that on Monday, temperatures will slightly decrease while remaining about (7–8) degrees Celsius above the general average for this time of the year, with mild temperatures in most regions, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. There will be activity of the southwesterly winds that stir up dust, especially in the desert regions, which may lead to a reduction in horizontal visibility.

On Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a cold and humid air mass, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures, chilly weather in most regions, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Early in the morning, rain showers are expected intermittently in the north of the Kingdom, gradually extending to the central and parts of the eastern regions. The rains may be heavy and brief, accompanied by thunder and sometimes hail, especially in the north and east of the Kingdom. In the afternoon hours, light rain is expected in parts of the southwestern regions, with westerly winds active and stirring up dust in desert areas.

At night: The weather will be cold and partly cloudy, with a continuing chance of light rain in the western parts of the Kingdom, and westerly winds that are moderate in speed and may become brisk at times.

On Wednesday, there will be a slight increase in temperatures, yet the weather remains cold in most regions, with the possibility of fog formation in the early morning hours, especially over high mountain elevations.

On Thursday, temperatures continue to rise slightly, and the weather will be relatively cold in most regions, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with a chance of reduced horizontal visibility occasionally due to dust, especially in the desert regions.

The Meteorological Administration emphasized the importance of following the bulletins and periodic updates, and taking the issued warnings into consideration, especially on Tuesday.
