Jordan Price of 90 Octane Gasoline Drops to 81 Piasters for the First Time in Four and a Half Years

Khaberni - The price of 90 octane gasoline in Jordan has dropped to 81 piasters per liter, for the first time in 4 years and 6 months, according to decisions by the Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee.

The data showed that the last period when the selling price of 90 octane gasoline in Jordan reached 81 piasters per liter was in July 2021.

The pricing committee's decision tables from past years indicate that the selling price of 95 octane gasoline reached approximately one dinar and 3.5 piasters, as scheduled for February next year, and it had recorded a price of one dinar and 4 piasters per liter in July 2021, and one dinar and one piaster per liter in June 2021.

The peak selling price of 90 octane gasoline during the last five years was recorded in August 2022, when it reached 99 piasters per liter, and in the same month, the selling price of 95 octane gasoline reached one dinar and 30 piasters per liter.

As for the selling price of a liter of kerosene, it returned to 55 piasters per liter for the first time since 2021, where its price ranged in May 2021 between 46 piasters per liter and 58 piasters per liter, while the peak price reached 86 piasters per liter in November 2022 and December of the same year.
