Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, revealed that the kingdom has received a number of requests to study the possibility of exporting Iraqi crude oil and heavy fuel through Jordanian territory.
Al-Kharabsheh said on Thursday that the relevant authorities are studying these requests, taking into account the kingdom's storage capacity, and prioritizing the preservation of the strategic reserve to ensure the fulfillment of local needs, according to the kingdom.
He explained that considering these requests takes into account technical and logistical constraints at the Aqaba port, including the capacities of the pier designated for the export and import of crude oil and its derivatives.
