Tourism Activation participates in organizing the Jordanian Universities Exhibition in Saudi Arabia

Khaberni - In accordance with the strategic plan to attract incoming students for the years (2023–2027), the Tourism Promotion Authority collaborated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in organizing the Jordanian Universities Exhibition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – the second session in 2026, which recently launched in the cities of Riyadh and Tabuk, under the sponsorship of the Jordanian Ambassador in Riyadh, Dr. Haitham Abu Al-Foul, with the participation of (20) official and private Jordanian universities and colleges, in addition to colleges and academies specializing in aviation, culinary arts, and hospitality.

The Tourism Promotion Authority emphasized that its participation in international educational exhibitions is part of a strategic vision to promote Jordan as a leading educational destination alongside its tourism and cultural status, stating that these exhibitions provide an effective platform for direct communication with students and parents, and deliver a comprehensive picture of the educational environment in Jordan, modern academic programs, and the facilities offered to incoming students.

The Authority pointed out that educational tourism is one of the important economic drivers, as it contributes to long-term stays and stimulates tourist and service sectors, noting that the integration between higher education and cultural and tourist activities provides the international student with a comprehensive experience and enhances Jordan's regional competitiveness as a preferred destination for studying and living.
