Tkiyet Um Ali Completes Delivery of 1000 Tents in Its Shelter Units in Gaza

Khaberni - Tkiyet Um Ali announced the delivery of all 1000 tents as part of its comprehensive humanitarian response in Gaza to improve shelter conditions for displaced persons camps, within its five shelter units valued at 950 thousand dinars.
The humanitarian response included comprehensive basic services implemented in four stages, all completed at the beginning of this week. The first stage targeted areas east and west of Gaza City, the second stage the north of Gaza (Jabalia), the third stage the central region (Deir al-Balah), and the fourth and final stage camps in the south of Gaza (Khan Yunis). Services provided included water, sanitation, food, and educational support, ensuring the protection of human dignity, reducing health risks, and enhancing the resilience of affected families while considering seasonal needs for the holy month of Ramadan.
This response was carried out in coordination with the Hashemite Charity Organization and the local partner in Gaza Strip "Future Palestine Association for Community Development", where the tents were delivered to the most affected families on approved lists. The Ministry of Education provided teachers for the educational rooms.
The nine educational rooms include about 243 seats, benefitting 1696 male and female students to continue their education in a rotational system from kindergarten to tenth grade.
The health units (bathrooms) have been maintained and 40 units were developed, where the health units were inventoried and priorities set according to the actual needs of each camp and population density, ensuring that the intervention serves the maximum number of displaced families and enhances the sustainability of services after implementation, reflecting the distribution of new units and rehabilitated ones as the project's ability to address the acute lack of health infrastructure. This also provides a basis for future expansion.
This initiative comes in response to urgent needs on the ground, at a time when the Gaza Strip is experiencing a real crisis related to providing shelter for displaced and war-affected people. A special unit was established that constitutes a safe space for widowed women and orphan families, where the project included replacing tents for some families and rehabilitating the available tents in other cases, as an immediate solution to alleviate the suffering of affected families.
