Growth of National Exports by 91 During the First 11 Months of 2025

Khaberni - National exports increased by 9.1 percent during the first 11 months of 2025, compared to the same period of 2024, according to the monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics on foreign trade in Jordan.

The report indicates that reexports increased by 8.8 percent compared to the same period, and this growth coincided with an increase in imports by 9.7 percent.

The report states that the dinar value of foreign trade reached a total value of exports at 9,550 million dinars with national exports constituting 8,694 million dinars, and reexports at 856 million, while the value of imports reached 18,938 million dinars during the same period.

The total exports to imports coverage ratio was 50 percent compared to 51 percent during the same period of 2024, while the coverage ratio for November 2025 alone reached 60 percent compared to a rate of 48 percent in the same month of 2024, an increase of 12 percentage points.

The total value of exports during November 2025 amounted to 962 million, of which 888 million was from national exports and 74 million from reexports, while imports amounted to 1,592 million dinars, meaning an increase in total exports for November 2025 by 22.7 percent compared to the same month of 2024, an increase in national exports by 24.5 percent, and reexports by 4.2 percent, while imports decreased by 1.7 percent resulting in a decrease in the trade deficit by 24.6 percent.

The report points to a concentration of the increase in national exports in sectors (nitrogenous or chemical fertilizers, precious jewelry and ornaments, pharmaceutical preparations, raw phosphate, raw potash), which contributed to supporting national exports despite a slight decline in exports of (clothing and related manufactures).

On the imports side, there was an increase in the value of (vehicles and bicycles, precious jewelry and ornaments, mechanical tools and equipment, electrical machinery and equipment, cereals), while a decrease in crude oil and its derivatives contributed to a greater reduction in imports.

The report highlights the increase in national exports to the Greater Arab Free Trade Area including Syria, where exports multiplied by 351 percent, and to non-Arab Asian countries like India, as well as to European Union countries including Italy, while national exports slightly decreased to countries of the North American Free Trade Agreement including the United States.

As for imports, there was an increase from countries of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area including Saudi Arabia, and from countries of the North American Free Trade Agreement including the United States and non-Arab Asian countries such as China, and European Union countries like Germany.
