Khaberni - A team of scientists discovered a bizarre form of life, approximately 8 meters tall, that lived on Earth about 410 million years ago and went extinct around 360 million years ago.
Until now, this organism known as "Prototaxites" was thought to be a type of fungus, but a recent study by a team from the National Museums of Scotland revealed that it belongs neither to the fungi nor the plant kingdoms. The scientists confirmed that it represents a completely extinct evolutionary branch of life.
