Khaberni - The Turkish authorities, within the scope of a large-scale security operation, arrested Ozgur Gokce, brother of the famous restaurant chain owner Chef Nusret, on charges of facilitating child exploitation and prostitution activities.
Based on instructions from the Public Prosecutor's Office in the Kucukcekmece district of Istanbul, investigations were launched and the security forces conducted the first raid which revealed the network's connections.
After examining digital materials and the suspects' mobile phones, the authorities launched a second wave of intensive security operations.
The second wave resulted in the arrest of 7 individuals, including Ozgur Gokce, where the court decided to imprison them, while 6 others were released under judicial supervision.
According to leaked news, Gokce has been in prison for about 10 days following his arrest warrant.
Gokce was previously detained by the Turkish authorities on April 12th last year in investigations related to drugs and prostitution.
At that time, he was accused of obtaining monetary benefits by facilitating suspicious meetings, although he denied all charges attributed to him at that time and was released, only to be recently reimprisoned on the basis of new evidence related to the exploitation of minors.
