Occupation detains Palestinians inside a mosque west of Ramallah

Khaberni - Israeli occupation forces detained, on Sunday evening, a number of Palestinian worshippers inside the old mosque in Kafr Ni'ma village, west of Ramallah in the West Bank.

The Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted local sources as saying that the occupation forces raided Kafr Ni'ma, surrounded the mosque and detained the worshippers inside. They also fired stun grenades and tear gas in the surroundings and inside the neighborhoods of the village, causing fear among the residents, especially women and children, with no injuries reported.


The sources added that the occupation soldiers tightened their military measures and prevented citizens from approaching the mosque.

According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 23,827 assaults against citizens and their properties throughout various districts of the West Bank last year. The occupation army executed 18,384 assaults, the settlers 4,723, and both entities together executed 720 assaults.
