Khaberni - The Meteorological Department announced that the Kingdom will experience cold weather in most areas over the coming four days, with relatively pleasant weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, amid warnings of fog and the formation of frost in some areas.
The weather on Saturday will be cold during the day and very cold at night, with clouds appearing at different altitudes and the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility at night due to fog, especially over the mountainous highlands, in addition to the possibility of frost formation during the late night hours.
The Kingdom will be affected on Sunday by a low-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass, leading to a slight drop in temperatures. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with rain showers in the north and central parts of the Kingdom, later extending to the eastern areas, and may be occasionally heavy for short periods in parts of the north, possibly accompanied by thunder and hail, with light showers in some southwestern areas.
The weather will continue on Monday to be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with a slim chance of light rain in the western parts during the morning hours, while stable weather prevails at night with the formation of fog over the mountainous highlands.
The Meteorological Department urges citizens to exercise caution and care, especially while driving in areas experiencing fog or rain showers, to avoid slipping and reduced horizontal visibility.
