Khaberni - Published in the Official Gazette on Thursday, the details of the modification of tariff rates for illegally obtained liquefied water in response to the increased assaults on water sources, transport lines, and the repeated unauthorized withdrawal of water according to the Official Gazette.
According to the amendment, the price per cubic meter of illegally obtained liquefied water will be 500 fils, including water from riverbeds, the King Abdullah Channel, fresh water sources, irrigation channels, and dams.
The amendment also includes intakes from agricultural units or from mixed reclaimed water sources, and all other sources.
The tariff for liquefied water obtained illegally due to assaults on transport lines becomes 1500 fils per cubic meter, the same rate applies to water caused by its wastage.
