Khaberni - The Jordan Commercial Bank confirmed in a statement issued today that at exactly eleven thirty-four in the morning, two masked individuals entered our branch in Mafraq governorate. One of them fired warning shots, while the other went to the teller’s desk and stole a small amount of money before they both fled.
The security forces arrived at the branch after being notified and began to investigate the circumstances of the armed robbery and to proceed with the investigation to identify the thieves.
The Jordan Commercial Bank emphasizes that these incidents are isolated cases that do not reflect the morals and values of our Jordanian society. The bank also affirmed in its statement that it is committed to serving the Jordanian public and our clients, and to providing banking services at our branch in Mafraq for its residents and our valued clients.
