Khaberni - In a spine-chilling tragedy that shook the Ramadi district in Anbar province, Iraq, an Iraqi man killed his young daughter Maria Mohammad Bare, who was seven years old, following a family dispute with her mother.

Initial reports confirmed that the crime occurred after the girl visited her mother, who is separated from him. This led the father to use excessive force and torture his daughter inside the home, before he struck her with a sharp object, leaving stab wounds on her body, leading to her death after severe injuries that resulted in her admission to the forensic department.

In response, the Iraqi security forces acted swiftly, arresting the perpetrator immediately after the crime occurred and launching an official investigation to determine the precise circumstances, amid indications that the father might have been under the influence of narcotics during the crime.

The Iraqi judiciary is now looking into the case, amid public and official follow-up, to bring the father to justice, ensuring his accountability amid demands for the severest of penalties.
