Khaberni - The famous South African comedian Trevor Noah returns to the Grammy Awards stage in 2026, in an appearance officially described as his "last" as the host of the biggest music night in the world, thereby putting a final touch on a series of successful hosting stints that have solidified his presence at one of the most prominent global artistic events.
The Recording Academy and "CBS" Network confirmed that Noah will host the Grammy Awards ceremony in 2026, scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 1st, in his sixth consecutive appearance, thus concluding a successful journey that has left a clear mark on the history of the ceremony, according to the "Tribune" site.
In addition to hosting the evening, Noah will continue his role as the executive producer for the broadcast, as the event takes place at the "Crypto.com Arena" in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on the "CBS" channel from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM Eastern Time, with streaming available live and on-demand on the "Paramount+" platform depending on the subscription type.
Trevor Noah began his journey with the Grammys in 2021, in one of the most exceptional editions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and since then, he has become a familiar and beloved face to the audience, thanks to his ability to balance clever satire with respect for the artists and the music industry.
The coolest host of the ceremony
Executive Producer Ben Winston, from "Fulwell Entertainment," described him as the "coolest host of the ceremony," praising his intelligence, wit, and genuine appreciation for music.
The 2026 Grammy ceremony will carry another historic significance, as it will be the last year that the awards are broadcast on the "CBS" network, which has hosted the event since 1973.
Starting the following year, the Grammy broadcast will move to Disney platforms under a new ten-year deal announced in 2024.
Great anticipation
This year's edition comes amid great anticipation, with Kendrick Lamar topping the nomination list with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Serkot, each with seven nominations, while the list also includes other prominent names like Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter.
The list of participating artists and presenters is expected to be revealed in the few days leading up to the ceremony, during a time when excitement is increasing around Trevor Noah's farewell appearance, as he prepares to draw the curtain on one of his most successful experiences in presenting global awards.
