Khaberni - The Governor of Ramtha, Mahmoud Briezat, accompanied by the Director of Ramtha Police, Colonel Shadi Al-Habahbeh, the Director of Al-Baweidah area, Mr. Shadi Abu Zureiq, and the Director of Water Harvesting at Jordan Valley Authority, Dr. Tareq Al-Khamayseh, inspected the flooding of Al-Baweidah Dam in the Irbid Governorate today, Tuesday, due to the heavy rainfall affecting the kingdom, which led to the rise of the water level and its discharge through the dam spillway.
The attendees were briefed during an inspection tour of the dam site on the discharge operations and the safety of the implemented procedures, monitoring the field situation and verifying the safety of the dam and taking necessary actions to ensure the safety and security of the citizens and the surrounding areas.
