Khaberni - The Minister of Education, Sports, Youth, Research, and Innovation, in the Republic of Malta, Clifton Grima, received today, Monday, in the Maltese capital, Valletta, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Tunisia, and non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Malta, Abdullah Abu Roman.
During the meeting, the Maltese Minister praised the tangible developments that Jordan has witnessed in the field of education and information technology. The Minister highlighted the deep relations shared between the two friendly countries and the Maltese government's commitment to enhancing cooperation, particularly in the fields of education, youth, sports, and scientific research, emphasizing the importance of building strong and continuous relationships between academic and youth institutions in both countries and exchanging expertise.
For his part, Ambassador Abu Roman pointed to the solid historical relations that bind the leaderships, peoples, and institutions of the two friendly countries, and the importance of leveraging these relationships to develop cultural and scientific cooperation and exchange expertise, and to enhance investment in the fields of education and technology. He noted the notable development that Jordan has achieved in the field of education, especially in the fields of modern technology, youth training, and qualification. Ambassador Abu Roman also appreciated the attention the Maltese government pays to Jordanian students studying at Maltese universities and institutes.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the possibility of exchanging university scholarships and building quality partnerships in the fields of training and qualification.
