Predicted death in the air Colombian singer dies after his plane crashes

Khaberni - The Colombian singer-songwriter Yieson Jimenez died at the age of 34 yesterday (Saturday) following the crash of the plane that was carrying him near the Colombian capital of Bogota.

Jimenez was on his way to the city of Medellin to perform at a concert in Marineya, and during the small rented plane's attempt to take off, registered under number N325FA, it struggled to gain altitude after leaving the runway, before crashing in a field near the end of the runway at Juan Jose Rondon Airport.

According to the website Evrimagaci, all passengers on the plane, six people including the pilot, his assistant, and four passengers, among them Jimenez and members of his music team, did not survive.

Social media sites circulated video clips recorded from the scene of the incident showing the remains of the small plane being consumed by flames.

Until now, no official cause of the crash has been announced, while the competent authorities continue their investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident.

Dreamed of dying

Fans revisited previous statements by Jimenez where he talked about his recurring dreams, in which he saw himself dying in a plane crash, and said in an interview last year that he had dreamed several times of dying in an aviation accident.

Jimenez was born on July 26, 1991, in Manzanares in the Caldas region, and began his artistic career at the age of seven, managing during his early years to record his first 5 songs, thus laying the foundation for his fame.

Jimenez's official breakthrough came after the release of his first album Con El Corazón – Volumen 1 in 2013, and he gained significant fame through his song Porqué la Envidia, included in his second album in 2015, while he managed to establish himself as a rising star due to his shocking lyrics that reflect the reality of his specifically Colombian audience.

A pivotal moment in his artistic career came after releasing his song Aventurero in 2018, which surpassed 400 million listens, topping the charts for more than 20 weeks.

Throughout his career, Jimenez composed more than 70 musical works, participated in television programs, and was a member of the judging panel on talent discovery shows, inspiring a new generation of artists.
