College of Information Technology in Arab Amman Organizes the Fourth Edition of the Message in Five Minutes Competition for Po

Khaberni  - In its pursuit to enhance the research skills of postgraduate students and empower them to present and share their research ideas in a scientific and professional manner, while also acquiring public speaking and presentation skills, the Department of Computer Science at the College of Information Technology organized the fourth edition of the "Message in Five Minutes (Five Minutes Thesis – 5MT)" competition, supervised by Dr. Firas Abu Al-Ads, head of the Computer Science Department, and professors Dr. Nimer Al-Imam, Dr. Gaith Jaradat, Dr. Amer Abu Jasr, Dr. Thamer Al-Srayera, Dr. Bashar Al-Khasawneh, with the participation of master's students in Computer Science who have completed their thesis proposals.

The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Rami Sawalha, Dean of the College of Information Technology at the university, who expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all those involved in organizing the competition and to the members of the judging panel for their outstanding efforts, praising the advanced scientific level displayed by the participating students, and reaffirming Amman Arab University's ongoing commitment to support quality scientific activities that contribute to developing the academic and personal skills of students, enhancing a culture of scientific research and innovation among them.

In turn, Dr. Abu Al-Ads emphasized the importance of organizing such competitions due to their active role in developing and honing the research and scientific skills of postgraduate students, and enabling them to present their research ideas and projects in a clear, simple, and professional manner that reflects their competence and ability to communicate distinguished scientific work. At the end of the competition, participating and winning students were honored, where student Lina Abu Zayda won the first place, student Shatha Muhanna came in second place, and student Mahmoud Al-Sayes claimed third place. The students expressed their appreciation for the organization of the competition, which positively highlighted the management's attention to their views, needs, and suggestions from Amman Arab University and the college, appreciating the continuous efforts to promote constructive dialogue, reinforce positive interaction, and support mutual cooperation, which contributes to achieving leadership and excellence.
