Khaberni - Local authorities in Aleppo announced on Friday that elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Sheikh Maqsood district will be relocated within hours to areas in Northeast Syria.
The Syrian news agency reported that authorities have begun preparing buses to transfer SDF elements from Sheikh Maqsood in Aleppo to Northeast Syria.
The Media Directorate in Aleppo province stated in a release that "in the upcoming hours, SDF elements, armed with light individual weapons, will be moved to East of the Euphrates," following the Ministry of Defense's announcement of a ceasefire after days of deadly clashes in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsood and Ashrafiya between Kurdish forces and government forces, which forced thousands of civilians to flee.
