Khaberni - The U.S. Central Command announced the continuation of a full naval blockade on Iran, confirming that the ongoing military operations aim to disrupt Iranian maritime trade.
Central Command leader Brad Cooper stated that U.S. forces continue to effectively enforce the blockade, noting that 19 ships have been intercepted so far within this framework.
Cooper added that the blockade has successfully stopped Iranian maritime trade, confirming that no ship has been able to evade the imposed measures so far.
He explained that 8 AH-64 Apache helicopters are involved in surveillance operations and enhancing deterrence in the Strait of Hormuz area, alongside monitoring all Iranian ports and ships.
He affirmed that U.S. forces are capable of continuing the naval blockade on Iran for as long as necessary.
