Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country has established, for the first time, a security zone along the border with Lebanon extending to the Yarmouk area in Syria, indicating that this security belt aims to remove the direct invasion threat and push back the threat of anti-tank missiles.
Netanyahu added in statements made on Friday, that the Israeli military destroyed about 90% of the missiles, shells, and depots that he said were built by Hezbollah, confirming "the elimination of its former leader" Hassan Nasrallah.
He referred to the execution of what he described as “Operation Bagger,” which he said resulted in the killing of thousands of militants, noting that Hezbollah is "not the same as it used to be," in his words.
Netanyahu explained that Israel plans to confront the remaining threats of missiles and drones, without going into further details, affirming that his country's goal is to disarm Hezbollah, which "requires continuous effort and wise political management."
He concluded by saying that his country seeks to restore security to the residents of northern Israel, pointing out that "one hand carries the weapon and the other extends for peace."
