Minister of Investment discusses economic cooperation with the Japanese ambassador

Khaberni - Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh, alongside the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom, Asari Hideki, discussed ways to enhance economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

During his meeting with the ambassador on Tuesday, Abu Ghazaleh emphasized the importance of building upon the Jordanian-Japanese strategic relations and following up on the outcomes of His Majesty King Abdullah II's visit to Japan as part of his Asian tour, which centered around enhancing economic and investment cooperation in various areas, such as technological transformation, services, specialty industries, mining, and energy.

According to a statement from the ministry, Abu Ghazaleh mentioned the Kingdom's keenness to expand economic partnerships between the two countries, in light of the promising investment opportunities available in the Kingdom, and parallel to the governmental efforts derived from the Economic Modernization Vision, aimed at boosting economic growth and attracting quality investments, based on a comprehensive system of legislation, incentives, and investment facilitations.

On his part, Ambassador Hideki praised the stable investment environment in Jordan and the measures taken to improve the business environment and develop the investor experience, asserting his country's eagerness to expand cooperation horizons, build on the joint successes, and the outstanding political and economic relations between the two countries.
