Khaberni - The Syrian General Authority for Ports and Customs denied on Sunday the accuracy of the news circulating about allowing Syrian citizens to enter Jordanian territory using only their personal ID and without the need for prior approvals.
The Director of Public Relations at the General Authority for Ports and Customs, Mazen Alloush, stated in a post on his "X" platform account: "The news circulating about an agreement that allows Syrian citizens to enter Jordanian territory using only their personal ID, and without the need for prior approvals, is completely untrue."
Alloush confirmed that "there is no change to the currently adopted procedures, and the existing laws and regulations for entering the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan remain in effect as they are without any changes."
