Khaberni - The Economic and Social Institution for Military Retirees and Veterans has warned about deceptive advertisements and fictitious pages widespread on “Facebook,” which seek to illicitly profit by exploiting the retirees' needs and living conditions, by claiming to offer immediate loans or financial facilities in the name of the institution.
The institution affirmed that it never directly grants any financial loans at all, and that its services are limited to selling electrical appliances and household necessities on easy installment plans, and only through licensed and accredited national companies.
The institution has urged comrades in arms not to deal with any entity or page, and not to share any personal or financial information or data under any circumstances, as the institution’s services are provided exclusively through its official offices spread across all the provinces of the kingdom.
The institution also confirmed that it will take deterrent legal action against anyone who impersonates its name or promotes misleading advertisements targeting retirees and exploiting their needs.
