Khaberni - Dr. Ahmad Al-Sarhanah, chairman of the Parliamentary Health and Food Committee, confirmed that the committee took part in a parliamentary delegation on an official visit to the Republic of Turkey, where they discussed means to enhance cooperation in the field of liver and organ transplantation.
Al-Sarhanah stated in today's statement, Monday, that a series of meetings were held and the Turkish experience in organ transplantation was examined, exploring the possibility for Jordanian patients to obtain preferential prices for transplantation procedures.
He added, during the discussions, mechanisms for exchanging medical expertise between the Jordanian and Turkish sides were discussed, contributing to the development of the level of health services provided to patients in Jordan, affirming the committee’s commitment to opening avenues of cooperation with advanced medical institutions.
