The Israeli government meets tonight to discuss the second phase in Gaza

Khaberni - Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a security meeting between the limited government and the military establishment at exactly six in the evening.

According to the newspaper, the meeting will address the second phase in the Gaza Strip, a general assessment of the situation, and an update on the results of the visit to Washington.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister "Benjamin Netanyahu", during a cabinet session following his return from his visit to the United States, said that US President Donald Trump assured him that the disarmament of Hamas is a necessary and essential condition for moving forward with his 20-point plan.

During the weekly meeting of the Israeli government, he pointed out "that we stand in solidarity with the Iranian people's struggle and their aspirations for freedom and justice", adding: "It is likely that we are at a decisive moment where the Iranian people can determine their fate", after Iran witnessed protests against economic conditions.

Netanyahu mentioned that "the Israeli government supports the firm US action in Venezuela", following the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by the US authorities during a military operation in the country.
