Khaberni - Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya has ordered administrative governors to release (461) administrative detainees.
This decision comes as part of the ministry's efforts to provide an opportunity for the released individuals to reintegrate into society, enhance their chances of rehabilitation, and enable them to resume their normal lives among their families and communities, especially with the onset of the New Year 2026, after their files and the nature of their cases were reviewed and the periods they spent detained were deemed sufficient.
On the other hand, this decision underscores the ministry's humanitarian approach to handling administrative detention in accordance with the guarantees provided in the law, while simultaneously considering the legal and security controls aimed at restricting the criminal activities of dangerous individuals.
