Jordan Complaints about the malfunction of the Sanad app after the update

Khaberni -  Complaints from a number of users have been reported to the "Khaberni" site regarding the "Sanad" application being inoperative for about two hours, despite the announcement of its recent update, where the complainants pointed out that they are unable to open the application or use its services.

In this context, the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Samirat, said on Sunday, that the new update of the "Sanad" application features higher speed in logging in and navigating within the application, along with an updated and easier user interface designed to facilitate access to government services, and make the user experience clearer and smoother.

Samirat also noted, during a press conference held to discuss the major updates made to the application, that the new update has enabled the possibility of automatically activating the digital identity through the application, without the need to visit "Sanad" stations as was previously the case, through simple, secure, and reliable steps.

He explained that Jordanian expatriates can now also activate their digital identity from anywhere in the world through the "Sanad" application, which represents a qualitative leap in enabling citizens to access their digital services with ease.

The minister confirmed that the ministry will clearly and simply publish the new activation mechanism through its digital platforms and various media outlets, to ensure its accessibility to all citizens and facilitate the benefits from the new updates.
