Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Al-Safadi said on Sunday that today's meetings reflected the political will of the King and his brother President Ahmed Al-Shar', in building on the entrenched relationships that unite our countries to move towards integrated relations.
Al-Safadi added, during a joint press conference with the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Sheibani, that more than 10 agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed, and cooperation in more than 21 vital sectors was discussed.
He pointed out that today's meeting is the largest Jordanian-Syrian meeting in history, involving more than 30 ministers.
He affirmed that Jordan stands with Syria in the process of rebuilding a free, secure, and stable Syrian homeland, and in Syria's sovereignty over all its territories, to build the future after decades of destruction and suffering.
He added that Syria is today at a historic moment, and Jordan stands with it at every step on the path of reconstruction.
