Khaberni - Preliminary investigations have revealed new details about the mysterious death of Victoria Jones, the daughter of American star Tommy Lee Jones, who was found dead inside the "Fairmont" hotel in San Francisco, in the early hours of New Year's Day, at the age of 34.
According to media reports, including the "Daily Mail", the initial belief indicated that Victoria may have lost consciousness due to alcohol consumption, after she was found lying on the floor of the fourteenth floor of the hotel.
Immediately, hotel staff informed the relevant authorities and began to administer first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), before the arrival of an ambulance, though the paramedics declared her dead at the scene.
The San Francisco Police Department reported that it received a call about a medical emergency at the hotel at 3:14 AM local time, where patrols moved to the location and began the necessary proceedings.
The police, according to what American media reported, confirmed there was no criminal suspicion in the incident, nor were any drugs or narcotic substances found at the scene, and there were no indications that the death was due to suicide.
Several questions remain unanswered, including whether Victoria was a guest at the hotel or not, and how she reached the fourteenth floor, while the cause of death has not yet been officially determined, pending the results of medical examinations and final reports.
In its turn, a spokesperson for the "Fairmont" hotel issued a statement transmitted by "Page Six", saying: "We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026, and we extend our deepest condolences to the deceased's family and loved ones during this difficult time", confirming that the hotel management is fully cooperating with the competent authorities and providing all forms of support in the ongoing investigation.
Victoria was the fruit of Tommy Lee Jones's marriage to his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley, and had initially followed in her father's footsteps in the arts, participating with him in the movie "Men in Black II", and appearing in an episode of the famous series "One Tree Hill", as well as participating in the movie "The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada", which was directed by her father.
Despite distancing herself later from the acting field, Victoria occasionally made appearances alongside her father at art events and on the red carpet, before her mysterious death shocked the entertainment community recently.
