Dr. Maya Morsi, the Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, commented on the incident of a mother's death due to pressures she faced, describing what happened as a "final cry of pain" before death, warning that the mother reaching this state due to injustice and obstinacy is a dangerous indicator.

Morsi said that the mother ended her life over a possible dispute about the apartment she lived in with her daughters, emphasizing that the custody apartment is not just walls but dignity and stability for the mother. Depriving them of their housing is a disgrace.
She also referred to another incident where a mother and her children died because the father refused to provide for them, leaving them in need, emphasizing that financial and emotional extortion and misuse of the law is a crime that must be severely punished.
She emphasized that the child's right to housing and support should not be compromised or used to settle scores.
Morsi criticized the delay in justice, describing it as injustice, and called for the protection of women's and children's rights.
In conclusion, she urged everyone to be merciful to the young and to refrain from sharing the mother's name, publishing videos of the incident, or accessing her personal accounts to protect their privacy.
