The start came with a video clip that Mohamed Ramadan posted on his official social media accounts, where he appeared with a serious expression to make a shocking statement to his audience, announcing his non-participation in the upcoming Ramadan season 2027.
It only took seconds for the seriousness to turn into mockery, as he added laughing: "Those who were afraid don't be afraid anymore, it was just an April Fool's joke."
The video sparked a huge wave of interaction, with comments from followers ranging from relief to joking, like: "You scared me, artist," and "You dropped our hearts."
This "joke" was not the only action that recently caused controversy, as Ramadan had previously apologized for starring in a new drama project despite his wage reaching an unprecedented record number.
Through a video on the "TikTok" platform, Ramadan exploded a major surprise, confirming that he received an offer just last week to participate in a drama series for 4 million dollars - which exceeds 200 million Egyptian pounds.
Although this sum is the highest in his artistic career - and currently the highest in the Arab drama market - "Number One" firmly rejected the offer, pointing out that financial value has never been a barrier or condition he previously set, but the offer came as an appreciation of his marketing status.
