Khaberni - Jerash Greater Municipality has urged citizens to exercise the utmost caution and care when using the side road in the Green Mountain area after it was temporarily closed following a collapse in one of the construction excavations.
The head of the municipality committee, Mohammad Bani Yasin, said that the municipality has decided to close the road immediately as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers until the collapse is addressed and the road can be reopened safely.
Bani Yasin added that the municipality's specialized teams are monitoring the site in coordination with the relevant authorities, noting that efforts are underway to assess the situation and implement the necessary technical measures as soon as possible.
He also called on citizens to adhere to the approved traffic guidelines and use the available alternative routes, emphasizing that the safety of the citizens is a top priority for the municipality.
