Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Omar Maharme, stated that the road from Arda leading to the district of Deir Alla witnessed rockslides and soil erosion from the adjacent mountain, resulting from the heavy rainfall associated with the weather depression affecting the kingdom.
Maharme added that these collapses led to a partial and temporary closure of the road, confirming that the ministry's teams dealt with the rock masses and removed them, and reopened the road for traffic.
He noted that the road surface did not suffer any damage, and that the ministry continues its field monitoring of sites in various regions, and takes necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens, especially in light of the ongoing impact of weather conditions.
