Khaberni - The Saudi Consul in Dubai, Abdullah Al-Mutawa, announced yesterday, Thursday, his departure from his position, without mentioning the reasons.
Al-Mutawa said in a post on his page on the platform "X": "Today is the time to depart, and I leave my second home, the General Consulate in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, after a journey of work and giving that started in January 2021 as the General Consul of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dubai and the Northern Emirates".
He added: "I hope to God that I have succeeded in performing the trust and representing my country well; if I fell short or made mistakes, I ask from God and then from everyone to accept my apology. I also express my sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Executive Affairs, and the excellencies the agents and officials in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Kingdom for all the support, confidence, and backing I received throughout my tenure".
