Khaberni - The Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah II Development Fund has decided to appoint Dr. Samer Al-Mufleh as the General Director of the Fund, and this appointment comes within the framework of the board's efforts to develop the fund's work, to contribute to supporting economic and social development in Jordan.
It is worth noting that Dr. Samer Al-Mufleh has a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the University of Bristol in 2008, in addition to a Master's degree in Engineering Business Management from Coventry University in 2004, and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in 2002.
Dr. Samer Al-Mufleh has extensive experience in the field of economic and social development, having held several leadership positions in various institutions and companies, where he was the CEO of Strategic Planning and Organizational Excellence in the Arab Potash Company, and he previously served as an advisor to the General Manager for Strategic Planning and International Cooperation at the Public Institution for Social Security between the years 2011-2020 where he managed three main functions (strategic planning and performance management, operations and quality, and international cooperation), in addition to being a lecturer at the Graduate School of Business Management at the German Jordanian University since 2010.
Dr. Al-Mufleh worked as an economic expert at the Prime Minister's Office in Jordan between 2010 and 2011, as an economic expert in the Jordan Investment Board during the period 2010-2018, and worked part-time with the World Bank Group on some projects in the region, and was a member of boards of directors of many institutions including: the Jordan Petroleum Refinery, the Jordan Petroleum Products Marketing Company, the Graduate School of Business Management/German Jordanian University, the Jordan Economic Forum, Hydron Energy Company/Gulf, and Orange / Jordan Telecommunications Group.
