Khaberni - The World Bank President Ajay Banga said on Tuesday that the war in the Middle East will lead to a slowdown in global economic growth and an increase in inflation, regardless of how quickly it ends.
During an event hosted by the Atlantic Council, Banga added that the World Bank was able to disburse billions of dollars quickly to countries affected by the war through its crisis response mechanisms, just as it did during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
