Khaberni - The occupation army announced the signing of a tripartite action plan for military cooperation between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel last week.
The occupation army mentioned in a statement last night, Sunday, that “the tripartite action plan for military cooperation between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel was signed last week in Cyprus, in addition to the action plans between the Israeli army and the Greek army, and between the Israeli army and the Cypriot army, for 2026.”
It said, “The Israeli delegation, led by Amit Adler, met in Nicosia with its Greek and Cypriot counterparts, as part of the annual joint meeting of the Israeli, Greek, and Cypriot armies.”
According to the statement, “the plans include joint maneuvers and training, task forces in various areas, and a strategic military dialogue on issues of mutual interest, among other things.”
The Israeli army considered that “the signing of these plans represents another step towards deepening military cooperation between the countries, and contributes to enhancing stability, security, and peace in the Eastern Mediterranean region.”
On the twenty-second of this month, the head of the occupation government, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that Israel, Greece, and Cyprus agreed to expand their military and security cooperation, in a message addressed to regional parties, led by Turkey without naming it explicitly.
Netanyahu’s statements came that day during a press conference held with the participation of the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the Cypriot President Nicos Christodoulides, at the conclusion of a joint summit held in occupied Jerusalem.
Netanyahu directly warned, without naming, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, saying: “To those who dream of establishing empires and controlling our lands, I say: forget it. It will not happen. Don’t even think about it.”
He added: “We are committed and capable of defending ourselves, and this cooperation enhances our capabilities. Together, as democracies in the Eastern Mediterranean, we will enhance security, prosperity, and freedom.”
