On Friday, the Yemeni government called for a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia to take "military measures" to support its forces in Hadramout.
The official Yemeni news agency (SABA) reported that after a meeting of the National Defense Council in Riyadh, the Yemeni government "submitted a request to the Coalition forces supporting legitimacy in Yemen to take all necessary military measures to protect innocent civilians in Hadramout province, and to support the armed forces in imposing calm."
