Jordan Heating 1249 Exam Halls in Preparation for the Tawjihi

Khaberni - The Ministry of Education has completed its preparations for equipping 1249 exam halls to welcome 131,000 students in the complementary General Secondary Education Certificate exam "Tawjihi," which will start next Saturday and continue until Saturday 17 January 2026.

The ministry spokesperson, Mahmoud Al-Hayyasat, told "Al-Mamlaka" on Wednesday, that the ministry has paid special attention to providing a comfortable and safe exam environment for students, especially given the cold weather conditions, ensuring that all halls are equipped with heating systems to ensure students' comfort during the exams.

Al-Hayyasat added that some halls were equipped with modern heating systems such as central heating and air conditioning, while stoves were provided in other halls. Adequate ventilation and lighting have also been ensured to guarantee an ideal exam environment.

Al-Hayyasat noted that the ministry provided comfortable seating that suits the students' needs, in addition to installing directional signs inside the halls to facilitate the movement of students and ensure smooth guidance, contributing to a comfortable exam environment that enhances the students' experience.

Al-Hayyasat emphasized that the ministry aims, through these measures, to provide a comprehensive exam environment that facilitates the smooth conduct of exams, helping students achieve success and excellence.

He mentioned that the ministry is committed to providing all the necessary requirements to ensure the exams are performed with the highest levels of concentration and comfort, especially under the cold weather conditions.

In the Tawjihi supplementary exams, 131,381 participants will take part, including 116,714 students who have not completed the requirements for success, and14,667 students seeking to improve their scores. Students will be distributed across various academic and vocational education branches, as follows: Eleventh Academic (37,437), Scientific (42,274), Literary (40,468), Sharia (116), Industrial (3,740), Agricultural (2,422), Hotel and Tourism (887), and Home Economics (4,037).

The exams will be held in 529 exam centers distributed across the educational directorates throughout the kingdom, with 42 backup halls provided, one for each directorate. The exams papers will be graded in 38 centers spread across the provinces.

A total of 140 participants will take the exams at rehabilitation and juvenile centers, distributed across 15 halls. Moreover, 3 participants will take the exam at the King Hussein Cancer Center.

As for students with disabilities, 422 participants, distributed across the following categories: deaf (115), physically disabled (37), mobility impairments (113), cerebral palsy (64), and visually impaired (93) will take the exam.
