Khaberni - Israeli settlers, early this Wednesday morning, set fire to several Palestinian vehicles, in the village of Ain Yabrud northeast of Ramallah in the central West Bank.
Local sources reported that a group of settlers stormed the village early in the morning, set fire to several vehicles parked in front of homes, and wrote racist slogans.
The sources explained that the settlers sent threatening messages in their writings on the walls using the name "The King David Brigades,” where groups known as "Hilltop Youth" and "Hill Beasts" use the name "The King David Brigades" to claim responsibility for their attacks in the West Bank.
The mobs of settlers continue their violations and terrorism against Palestinian lands in the West Bank, with full support and protection from the Israeli occupation authorities and their right-wing extremist government, which is striving hard to plunder more Palestinian properties.
Known groups called “Hilltop Youth” and “Price Tag,” culminating in the new phenomenon spreading in the occupied West Bank hills, mountains, plains, and valleys known as "Hill Beasts,” indicate a rising form of organized wider-spread settler terrorism.
In recent months, a new settler group phenomenon named “Hill Beasts” has emerged in the occupied West Bank areas, consisting of dozens of Jewish youths who have transformed Palestinian lands and farms into arenas of violence and intimidation.
This group represents the new generation of what was known as "Hilltop Youth," but it is more extremist and organized, acting with an aggressive spirit that does not hesitate to target Palestinians first, and then soldiers and settlers themselves if they try to deter or object to their behavior.
Members of this group believe in what they call "the exclusive right of the people of Israel to the Greater Land of Israel," and reject any political or security agreement, even if issued by the occupation government.
Every cell of "Hill Beasts" includes about ten to fifteen young men who move between random settler outposts and carry out organized attacks including setting fire to vehicles, homes, and Palestinian fields, as well as throwing stones at the soldiers themselves.
