Khaberni - Egyptian artist Ahmed Essam El-Sayed has started filming his new Ramadan series "Pride of the Delta," which he competes with in the upcoming drama season, in an experience that combines comedy and social dimension.
Starring in the project are Ahmed Ramzy, Tara Abboud, Ashraf Abdel Baky, Intisar, directed by Hady El-Basyouni.
The series' story
The series revolves around a young man from one of the Delta provinces who decides to move to Cairo in search of a real opportunity to achieve his dreams, only to find himself facing a series of humane and comedic situations that reshape his vision of life and himself, in a light and realistic treatment.
The launch of filming "Pride of the Delta" coincides with Ahmed Essam El-Sayed's completion of filming the movie “Who’s Son is He?” starring alongside the star Laila Elwi and Bayoumi Fouad, in a comedic social work that presents a different performance space on the big screen.
Samson and Delilah
He also continues his preparations for the movie Samson and Delilah, starring alongside Ahmed El Awady and Mai Omar, and relies on a mix that combines action and comedy in a thrilling framework.
Ahmed Essam El-Sayed had caught attention during the last Ramadan season through his participation in the series "Living the Role" opposite the star Donia Samir Ghanem, where he portrayed "Ayman," the university student who lives an internal conflict as a result of his ongoing disagreements with his father, in a performance that resonated notably with the audience.
On the cinematic level, he has recently participated in the movie “The Clever One” alongside Amir Karara and Mostafa Ghareeb, which is currently being shown on the Yangoo Play platform.
