A ghostly creature causes panic on a famous British beach and baffles residents

Khaberni - A state of shock and confusion prevailed on Hove Beach in Sussex County, Britain, after the waves washed a mysterious "ghostly" looking object onto the sand, prompting local residents to unleash a flood of speculation about its nature and origin.

Chance alone led to the discovery of the strange scene, when Hawwa Mustafa and his partner Yvonne were walking on the beach near Brighton before they noticed an unfamiliar object that looked like the body of an unknown creature, according to "The Sun".

A strange shape and unusual sheen
Mustafa, in statements to the local "The Argus" newspaper, says that the body was lying in a high area of the beach away from the waterline, which added to the mystery of its appearance, adding: "From a distance, we thought it was a seal, but as we approached, we noticed that it had four legs and hooves, we thought it was a sheep, but the skin was smooth and shiny like a pearl, without any trace of wool."

The most shocking, according to the witness, was the complete absence of the head, along with the strange sheen that covered the body, saying: "The scene was scary and puzzling.. it seemed as if it was lit from the inside, like a ghostly creature."

Speculations and unanswered questions
Soon, photos and clips of the body spread among beachgoers, starting a wave of theories about how the animal reached the sea and drowned, before the waves threw it onto the beach in this mysterious manner.

As questions escalated, the newspaper reached out to the Sussex Wildlife Fund to try to solve the mystery, but the spokesperson explained that accurately identifying the animal is "extremely difficult," noting that it seems to have been in the water for a long time, which changed its appearance, suggesting at the same time it might be "a sheep".

Strange phenomena... not the first
Despite the strangeness of the scene, the appearance of unfamiliar bodies on the shores of the United Kingdom is not a rare occurrence, as in September last year, residents and visitors of Pembrokeshire Beach in Wales were surprised by a giant 70-foot-long body washed by the waves.

Researchers then confirmed that the body belonged to a massive fin whale, considered the second largest marine creature after the blue whale, in the fourth documented case of this species drifting to the shores of Wales in the current century.
