The elderly woman, a pottery seller, was seen clinging to a wall in an attempt to survive, screaming in terror "Save me," while water flowed heavily around her, and neighborhood residents quickly intervened to rescue her, until she reached a safe place away from the floods.
The city of Safi in southwest Morocco experienced heavy rainfall and devastating floods that left 37 dead and caused substantial material damage.
