Khaberni - The head of the parliamentary energy committee, Ayman Abu Haneya, decided to close the meeting discussing "Al-Shamoseh" heaters from the media after discussing part of it with the Minister of Industry and Trade, Yarub Al-Qudah, and the Director General of the Standards and Metrology Organization, Abeer Al-Zuhair.
Abu Haneya, according to Khaberni, requested the media to leave the room to discuss the file, promising to reveal the results once concluded, an action refused by the head of the National Guidance and Media parliamentary committee, Dr. Hussein Al-Amoush.
Al-Amoush said: I find no justification for expelling the media from the room.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Yarub Al-Qudah confirmed that the report from the Royal Scientific Society regarding the recent suffocation incidents will not be secret, and the investigation results will be published transparently to the public as soon as it is issued, expected tomorrow, Monday.
Al-Qudah said during the meeting of the parliamentary energy committee, on Sunday, that the report from the Royal Scientific Society will be completed by tomorrow at the latest, indicating that the government is keen on informing the public of all investigation results related to the suffocation incidents that occurred recently.
The Director General of the Standards and Metrology Organization, Abeer Al-Zuhair, confirmed that the heaters under investigation are locally manufactured, and this type of heater has not been imported during the past period, noting that there have been no previous accidents resulting from their use.
