Khaberni - The General Union of Petroleum and Chemical Workers, with the generous support and contribution of the Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company, bid farewell today to its Umrah caravan bound for the Holy Lands, during a ceremony sponsored by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Engineer Abdalraheem Al-Baqa'i, and the CEO, His Excellency Engineer Hasan Al-Hayari.
The farewell ceremony was attended by the refinery director, Engineer Ibrahim Al-Mashaqbeh, the human resources manager, Haider Al-Basha'ira, and from the General Union side, its union president, Khaled Al-Ziyoud, vice president, Shaker Al-Abd, and members of the administrative board.
This trip is part of the annual Umrah program organized and supervised by the General Union for the company's workers, with a direct contribution from the Petroleum Refinery Company, honoring employees who have spent many years in the company's service and are still on duty.
During the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board, Engineer Abdalraheem Al-Baqa'i, expressed his appreciation for this initiative, which the company prioritizes as part of its continuous support for the workers, emphasizing its commitment to maintaining and enhancing these activities, wishing the pilgrims a blessed journey and a safe return.
The CEO, Engineer Hasan Al-Hayari, in a guiding speech to the pilgrims, stressed the importance of these initiatives and their role in strengthening the relationship between the company and its employees, wishing them a safe and successful journey, while highlighting some of the efforts made by the company in looking after the employees' interests.
For his part, the union president, Khaled Al-Ziyoud expressed his profound thanks to the company management for their continuous support of this honor, which has been ongoing for twenty years, appreciating the loyalty and dedication of the employees in serving the company, and praising the efforts of those organizing the trip, including the vice president Shaker Al-Abd, colleague Mahmoud Al-Saoub, the administrative board of the union, and all participating staff.
At the end of the ceremony, Al-Ziyoud and his colleagues honored the Chairman of the Board and the CEO with appreciation shields, as a token of pride in the company's role and management in the success of these faith-based initiatives that benefit the employees alongside their other gains and rights.
